Mythical (or perhaps just rare) animals continue to be a fascination of mine.  Check out the creature killed by a farmer in Kentucky.  I'll keep you posted on the lab results.

Hello World!

I've been inspired by the great Dutch collectors of the 16th and 17th centuries to create a blog about curiosities and oddities.  You know the guys... they have rooms full of double headed cat corpses in formaldehyde and Chinese scientific instruments from the 1200's.  Awesome!

Well, this blog is to be a virtual version of just that ethic!  So to kick things off, here is my first entry.  God the French are so obsessive!
